Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for the Non-Motorized Pathway, Payran Street to Southpoint Boulevard (MP 39.25 - 40.41) project in Petaluma, CA. The Work consists of construction of a multi-use pathway within an existing railroad right of way from Payran Street to Southpoint Boulevard in Petaluma, California. The work includes, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, road excavations, curb and gutter, signage, storm drains, traffic control, erosion control, asphalt paving, striping, concrete abutments, pier drilling, cast in-place concrete piles, retaining walls, furnish and install pedestrian/bicycle bridges, fencing, environmental mitigation, and related work as indicated on the plans. Quotes requested include, but are not limited to, the following scopes of work: CAS, TRAFFIC CONTROL, CLEAR & GRUB, LANDSCAPE/IRRIGATION, EROSION CONTROL, ASPHALT PAVING, STRUCTURAL CONCRETE, REINFORCING STEEL, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC., FENCING, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS, RETAINING WALL (MASONRY WALL), STREET SWEEPING, MATERIAL SUPPLIER & TRUCKING. Engineer's Estimate: $2,500,000 / DBE Goal: 6.06% / 110 CD / Various LDs. Submit quotes by Noon on bid date. Contact our estimator for more information. Mr. Mark Mahboubi (707/585-1221 or markm@ghilotti.com) is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance. GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: GCC may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. GCC will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. GCC is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)

Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Bidders may examine Bidding Documents at SMART's office at 5401 Old Redwood Hwy., Ste. 200, Petaluma, CA 94954. Bidders may also download electronic copies of Bidding Documents from SMART's website located at https://business.sonomamarintrain.org. Potential Bidders will be required to log-in or register with SMART's contracts and procurement website to access the procurement documents. Plans may also be viewed or purchased through local plan rooms, builder's exchanges, or Dodge Scan. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Req: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC's written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on our website (www.ghilotti.com/subcontractors/documents) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.

Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form 'CG-2010-1185' or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
