Granite Tully JV (GTJV) a construction joint venture comprised of Granite Construction Northeast, Inc. (Granite) and Tully Construction Co., Inc. (Tully), in association with designer, HNTB Engineering & Architecture, PC (HNTB) has been selected as a design-build team approved to submit a Proposal for the Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project, Contract 1.

The scope of work for the Project incudes, but is not necessarily limited to:
new ramps, ramp relocations, pedestrian bridge replacement, 2 bridge superstructure replacements & widening, bridge rehabilitation, shared use path, intersection & roadway improvements & rehabilitiations.

The Hunts Point project has DBE participation opportunities, and GTJV, is seeking qualified New York State certified DBE's to provide Subcontract/Supplier/Service Opportunities for categories that potentially include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Aggregates/Fill, Earthwork Material Testing, Sawcut Grooving, Asbestos Abatement, Electrical, Medical Testing, Sawing & Sealing, Bearings / Expansion Joints, Electrical - ITS, Milling, Scheduling (CPM), Bridge Railing, Electrical - Lighting, Misc Metals, Scuppers/Downspout System, Clearing & Grubbing, Environmental, Painting (Structural Steel - shop & field), Security Services, Community Outreach, Erosion Control, Painting/Coating, Sheeting (Timber / Steel), Concrete, Fencing, Pavement Markings, Signage/Sign Structures, Concrete Barrier (inc Slipform), Flatwork, Paving (Asphalt & Concrete), Soldier Piles & Lagging, Contaminated/Hazardous Material Testing/Monitoring, Fuel Supply, Structural Lifting, Contaminated/Hazardous Soil Removal, Guiderail, Photography/Video/Webcam, Structural Steel, Crack/Concrete Repairs Instrumentation, Pile Driving, Support of Excavation (SOE), Demolition, Janitorial Services, Precast Concrete, Survey, Dewatering/Groundwater Control, Landscaping, Reinforcing Steel, Traffic Signals, Drainage/Utilities, Lead Paint Abatement, Retaining Walls, Trucking,

Bid Date: May 31, 2019

Quotes Due: Wednesday, May 22, 2019

DBE Goal: 14% (NYS Certification)

Anticipated Notice to Proceed (NTP): August 23, 2019 (approximate date)
Substantial Completion: June 15, 2022 (Note: All physical Work to be complete)
Project Completion: No Later Than September 15, 2022

Project Labor Agreement (PLA): YES (To Be Provided)
