Cal Prime, Inc. is bidding this project as a Prime General Contractor. We are actively seeking sub-bids on all trades from qualified & certified DVBE subcontractors & suppliers. Plans and specs are available through Caltrans or you can contact our office via email through kellyhudson@calprimeinc.com. All sub-bids should be either faxed to (661) 379-8830 or emailed to kellyhudson@calprimeinc.com prior to 3:00 P.M. on March 4, 2019. We will provide required assistance in bonding, insurance. Portions of work for the project include but are not limited to the following items of work. They have been broken down and can be broken down further into economically feasible elements to assist the participation of DVBE contractors or vendors: Lead Compliance Plan, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Portable Changeable Message Signs, Job Site Management, Prepare Water Pollution Control Program, Temporary Reinforced Silt Fence, Temporary Construction Entrance, Street Sweeping, Treated Wood Waste, Clearing and Grubbing Roadway Excavation, Hydromulch, Fiber Rolls, Hydroseed, Wood Mulch, Class 2 Aggregate Base, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Tack Coat, Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 18" Plastic Pipe, 18" Alternative Flared End Section, Delineator (Class 1), Pavement Marker (Retroflective), Remove Roadside Sign, Furnish Single Sheet Aluminum Signs for Retroflective Sheeting, (Type XI), Retroflective Sheeting (TypeXI) Roadside Sign-One Post, Roadside Sign Two Post, 6" Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe (Enhanced Wet Night Visibility)(Broken 36-12), 6" Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe, (Enhanced Wet Night Visibility) Traffic Monitoring Station System

Cal Prime, Inc. can assist in payment with bond premium if contacted prior to bid due. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Caltrans requirements and will be required to sign Cal Prime, Inc. Subcontract Agreement. Sample of Subcontract can be provided if requested.
