The Work shall consist of the construction of a new 17,200 sf single story steel student union and administration building. Major trades include, but are not limited to the following: Surveying, Building Concrete, Structural Steel, Metal Decking, Metal Fabrications, Stone Veneer, Millwork, Insulation, Fiber Cement Siding, Metal Wall Panels, Water Resistive Barrier, Single Ply Roofing, Architectural Sheet Metal, Doors, Frames, Hardware, Overhead Doors, Storefronts & Glazing, Cement Plaster, Metal Studs & Drywall, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Wall Panels, Flooring, Epoxy Flooring, Painting, Wall Coverings, Building Specialties, FRP, Window Coverings, and General Trades Package. Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm, and Fire Sprinklers are by De-sign-Build Subcontractors already under contract.

Flint Builders will require all proposals to be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the Plan Room. Please attach to your company proposal if providing one. Bonding: Upon review of pre-qualification forms Flint reserves the right to require 100% Payment and Performance Bonds. Initial cost of Payment and Performance Bonds will be paid by Flint directly to the subcontractor's surety. Subcontractors will be required to pay for any increases due to time and contract price revisions. This project includes Skilled and Trained Work Force requirements per CA Public Contract Code.
