The work under this project involves the replacement of the bridge carrying Grove Drive (East Village Road) over the Ramapo River in the Town of Tuxedo, Orange County, NY (BIN 3345060). Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of as County owned temporary bridge, removing and replacing the existing steel multi-span multi-girder bridge, with a single span pre-stressed concrete adjacent box-beam bridge with semi-integral abutments on a raised vertical alignment and minor horizontal re-alignment, water and electric utilities, reconstructing approach roadway, and replacing guiderail, signage and striping at the approaches, in accordance with the contract documents.
