Is seeking qualified DBEs, MBEs, WBEs

The work includes replacement of major portions of the existing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for the Concourse level of the South Satellite terminal building.

A. The Work will include Contractor furnished temporary air handling units with chilled and heating water coils to be installed on the Roof. Temporary air handling units shall be installed and operated to allow the replacement of the Concourse Air Handling Unit.

B. Mechanical Penthouse existing dual duct air handling unit will be demolished and new equipment installed.

C. Concourse Level, STS (Satellite Transit Station) Level, Mezzanine (Non FIS area) and escalator enclosures areas includes ceiling, lighting, sprinklers and HVAC will be replaced.

D. The Contractor is responsible for removal of the regulated building materials as associated with the work and where indicated. Multiple construction phases are required to maintain Airport Operations including on the Concourse Level.

E. Perform escalator ceiling, lighting and sprinkler replacement.

F. Asbestos and other regulated materials work necessary to complete the project will be performed by the Contractor.

We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
