The work to be done consists, in general of sidewalk modifications and two safe crossing bulb-outs with 5 ADA accessible curb ramps, A raised crosswalk table with additional safety signage will also be installed, removing Replacing valley gutter, and removing and replacing curb and gutter. Construction area signs and a traffic control system are to be provided and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed.

Beginning on March 1, 2015, pursuant to Labor Code Sections 1722 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
