Is seeking qualified DBEs

Proposals are requested by Noon, October 15, 2018. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please reply to this invitation with a brief e-mail acknowledgement to restaite@aol.com and a brief scope of work you are interested in.
Project Description: Replace timber fender system surrounding piers 6 and 7 at the Tower Bridge in Sacramento/West Sacramento. This project extends two seasons in years 2019/2020.
The following Work Windows will apply to the project:
1. July 1 to July 15, 2019/2020: limited to barge set-up and the removal of existing piles and sheathing
2. July 15 to October 15, 2019/2020: conduct pile driving activities during daylight hours within one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.
3. October 15 to October 30, 2019/2020: limited to installing plastic sheathing (mostly installed above ordinary high water mark) and barge demobilization
Complete all work on the West Sacramento side of Tower Bridge (Pier #6) during the first construction season.
Complete all work on the Sacramento side of Tower Bridge (Pier #7) during the second construction season.

RES is willing to break down any bid item in order to facilitate DBE participation. Please contact us if there is an item that you are interested in. There may be an opportunity within each bid item to establish a flexible timeframe for performance and delivery schedules. Please contact us if that is of concern prior to submitting your quote and we can discuss any possible options.

It is the Subcontractor's responsibility to check the DropBox site often for any updates/addenda. Please indicate that your quote is per Plans & Specifications and acknowledge all addenda in your final quote.

This is a Public Works Project. Prevailing Wage is required (CA Prevailing Wage or Davis Bacon - whichever is higher). Certified payroll is required.
R.E. Staite will require subcontractors to comply with insurance policies and limits as indicated in the specifications. RES will also require a waiver of subrogation.
Bonding may be required.
Liquidated Damages: $10,000/Day
