General Descriptionrnrna. rnThe work to be performed consists of signal system modernization for the Avenue X and Ditmas Avenue Interlocking's, on the Culver Line, IND in the Borough of Brooklyn, and the complete CBTC Signal System Overlay on the Culver Line between West 8th Street and Church Avenue in Brooklyn,rnrnIt also includes:rnrnConstruction of a new relay room, CBTC and other equipment rooms, and the rehabilitation of some existing facility rooms to house all necessary equipment to control the interlocking.rnrnFurnishing and installing all heating, lighting, ventilation, air condition, fire suppression, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and electrical services for the new relay room and all other rooms. rnrnEquipping the Relay Room, Support Rooms and Dispatcher's Office.rnrnEMI/EMC and Environmental Equipment Testing in accordance with Sections 1N, 17S and other Specification Sections.rnrnRemoval Work as shown on the Contract Drawing and in the Specifications.rnrnb.rnThe general details of construction and the locations of the work are indicated more particularly in the Contract Documents.rnrn
