Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: C1200 CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; C1201 TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; C1211 TRAFFIC FLAGGERS; C2000 HIGHWAY PLANTING; C2030 EROSION CONTROL; C2066 TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL; C3940 AC DIKE AND MISC. PAVING; C8001 TEMPORARY FENCING; C8201 OBJECT MARKER; C8320 METAL BEAM GUARD RAILING; C8405 THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE AND MARKING; C8851 LEAD COMPLIANCE; C8852 SWPPP PLANNING; C9602 BOTTOM DUMP TRUCKING; C9603 TRANSFER DUMP TRUCKING; Additional Services needed: WATER QUALITY SAMPLING, ANALYSIS, AND REPORTS; CLEAN, INSEPCT, AND PREPARE CULVERT; VEGETATION CONTROL (MINOR CONCRETE); CABLE RAILING; MODIFY EXISTING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1, 2015 and any contract for public work entered into on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required to be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code ("Section 1725.5"). No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered into without proof of the Subcontractor's current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.

You will need to log in and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Caltrans to access the project plans.
