The major work consists of pulverizing and reconstructing approximately 400,745 square feet of asphalt concrete pavement, furnishing and placing approximately 7,810 tons of asphalt concrete, slurry sealing approximately 505,700 square feet of pavement and miscellaneous concrete improvements at various locations in the City of Newman.

Trades/Suppliers Need: Concrete Supplier, Asphalt Supplier, Trucking, Aggregates, Paint Striping and Thermoplastic Striping & Markings , Storm Drain Materials, Traffic Control, SWPPP Design, Pavement Pulverization, Slurry and Crack Seal.

Please include DBE Certificate, include expiration date, with your bid. Please submit all bids at least 24 hours before bid time. Beginning on March 1, 2015, pursuant to Labor Code Sections 1722 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a contract, the bidder and its subcontractor(s), of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the project.
