The project generally consists of: Sod removal, soil amendments, sod placement, placement of artificial turf striping; construction of concrete pads for bleachers; installation of new scoreboard;construction of field lighting.

This project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administered under the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development CDBG program. The affirmative action goal
for both minority and women participation in each trade is 6.8%. This is a public works project
subject to prevailing wage rates established by the State of California Department of Industrial
Relations and/or Davis-Bacon, whichever is higher. All bidding contractors and subcontractors
must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations at the time of bid
submittal. Additional details and requirements are provided in the bid documents.

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, worker's compensation and insurance coverage during the entire length of the prime contract. If we can be of assistance with providing specs, plans, obtaining bonding, insurance, materials and/or supplies or have any questions related to the referenced project, please contact our office at (541)882-8377. RMC may require subcontractors to provide bonding for their value of work. If required by RMC, we will reimburse bonding costs up to 1.5% of the total subcontract value.
