Invitation to Bid

You are invited to submit a proposal for the above project for the following scopes of work:

• Masonry
• Structural and Miscellaneous Steel
• Communication Tower Installation
• Surveyor for construction staking
• Design-Build Storefront/Glazing
• Security Steel Fencing
• Vehicle Service Equipment and Vehicle Washing Equipment

Masonry, Structural and Miscellaneous Steel, Design-Build Storefront/Glazing, Vehicle Service Equipment and Vehicle Washing Equipment Specialty Contractors will be an integral part of our design team assisting our Architect by providing Design Ideas and constructability review and Value Engineering options.(Please see attached RFP scopes of work and Bid Forms)

Bids are due 3/9/2017 at 2:00pm. Otto Construction will accept bids in the Main office prior to the day and time. Please confirm by 2/24/17 if your firm will be bidding

California Highway Patrol Truckee Station (CHP Truckee Replacement Facility) Contract Documents are referenced in Book 1 -Exhibit A Request for Proposal Div 0 and 1, Book 2 -Exhibit A Request for Proposal Performance Criteria, Book 3 -Exhibit A Request for Proposal Div 2 thru 14, Book 4 -Exhibit A Request for Proposal Div 21 thru 33, Book 5 -Exhibit A Request for Proposal Appendix A thru U, Book 6 -Exhibit B thru H, Book 7 - Technical Proposal CHP Truckee Replacement Facility Proposal, and CHP Truckee Area Office Replacement 50% CD.

The Construction Documents can be viewed at the El Dorado Builders’ Exchange, Sacramento Regional Builders’ Exchange, Nevada County Contractor’s Association, Placer County Contractors Association and Builders’ Exchange, and the Reno Builders Exchange. They are also available to download from the Otto Construction website www.ottoconstruction.com and look for CHP Truckee.

Our contract with the State requires 3% DVBE participation. Please indicate any or your entire bid that is DVBE. California prevailing wages must be paid for all work done on-site.
