The project will consist of construction of the following work:

? Rehabilitation of wheeler bottom filter underdrain system.
? Removal of existing filter media.
? Installation of new filter media.
? Installation of new filter air scour system.
? Demolition of existing hydraulic actuated filter valves.
? Installation of new electric motor actuated filter valves.
? Installation of new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection equipment.
? Installation of new sludge collectors in sedimentation basins.
? Construction of new sludge equalization concrete tank with pumps and valve/meter vault.
? Electrical and controls for new equipment.
? Site and utility construction.
? Related incidental work.

Please note that MBE/WBE firms must submit a EPA Form 6100-3. This form MUST be submitted with our bid package. Please ensure this form is submitted to us at least two days prior to the bid date.
As a responsible contractor, we will aggressively pursue MBE/WBE participation in excess of the minimal requirements. If you are interested in this project but discouraged by any of its requirements, please contact us. If needed, we will break down or combine elements of work into feasible units or smaller task/quantities and negotiate in Good Faith in order to facilitate MBE/WBE participation. We have special joint pay agreements and even an expedited payment policy for MBE/WBE firms, and we encourage to you to contact us to discuss how these procedures can help you on this project. If the bonding, letter of credit or insurance requirements set forth in the bid documents would otherwise prevent you from soliciting a quote please contact us and we will discuss ways that we may be able to help you meet these requirements.
